I was born and raised in Japan. The aesthetic I picked up, as well as the influences from the culture here are currently the main theme in my artwork. I do what I can to reveal of her personal experiences and thought through my images, without being too transparent. From the culture of Japan to being a ‘third culture kid,’ my desire is to weave all the different aspects of my life into my art.  http://www.reyliaslaby.tumblr. com http://www.reyliaslaby.com http://instagram.com/reylia.slaby

Outcasts and Prejudice in the Middle AgesGetty Museum curators and Kristen Collins and Bryan C. Keene are organizing an exhibition for early 2018 on outcasts, prejudice, and persecution in the European Middle Ages.
